Annual Giving

Support / Partners

What it takes to keep the Theatre a vital North Country presence are donor dollars, long-term giving, in-kind contributions, grantors and sponsors.

The 2010 Season is made possible in part
by the generosity of these organizations
and major sponsors.

We consider our area
Chambers of Commerce
and Associations partners in
every endeavor, see links at the
end of this page.

Individual Support – Annual Fund and Special Initiatives

Your gift is integral to our ability to continue to offer a high level of professional performance; and to fund an underwrite programs like our Patchwork Players, Windsock summer theatre camp, and the accredited Intern Program; and are most important in helping keep ticket and pass pricing affordable. Together, we have enjoyed the growth and longevity of the Weathervane.

Please join us - for the first, or 45th time - by generously offering your Annual support in 2010.
Monetary gifts to the Weathervane Theatre are considered tax-deductible charitable gifts.

On-going Capital Gifts, Special Projects, Designated Giving

Performances moved to our ‘new’ Barn theatre on Monday, August 6, 2002 with the comedy Not Now, Darling.  A capacity house was on hand to applaud not only the night’s comedy, but also the facility and efforts of all whose work had culminated in a Weathervane for future generations . . .

With our Mortgage paid, thanks to the Capital Challenge ’08, we’re in the process of long term planning and examining all facility needs. There remains a need for pledged support to complete what so many have begun: dressing rooms remain precariously housed in the old structure, and outdoor amenities remain rough. Upkeep, increased insurance costs, and future facility needs are all inevitable.

We can make a personal call or visit to answer your questions and discuss long-term planning for capital gifts. Please contact us at wvdevo8@yahoo.com and we will put one of our
Directors in touch with you.
