BOX OFFICE POLICIES

• Only Season Passholders enjoy full exchange privileges. With 24-hour notice by phone or in person, Season Passholders may exchange tickets for more convenient time. Guaranteed seating against lost or misplaced tickets.
• Unused balances of Season Pass, July Pack, or Season Gift Certificates are non-refundable and valid only for the Season purchased.
• All single ticket purchases are no-refund/no exchange, and held at the Box Office for pickup the night of performance. If you discover you cannot use your ticket purchase, simply send a friend!
• Season Passes and July Packs are sold through July 28th ONLY
• We accept VISA, MasterCard, checks and cash. All sales final and must be paid for at time of purchase: no held reservations.

GALA SUMMER PARTY & AUCTION . . . a superb success!! The hard work of a very enthusiastic committee paid off with an outstanding turnout (despite a rainy spell), and an amazing array of wonderful auction items. Entertainment and the live auction included an impromptu Fashion Show segment with these lovely ladies modeling Pucci designer frocks — to the delight of all in attendance. NEXT SUMMER’S PARTY AND AUCTION IS SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 19th!

WEATHERVANE at the LITTLETON PIANO PROJECT A challenge bid was made during the Party Auction — and Dave Ernsberger attracted lots of attendees to throw their support into getting Weathervane Company members to ‘flash mob’ the Main Street pianos. For a solid hour on Saturday morning, Weathervane actors and staff sang and danced along Main Street to the delight of passersby, shoppers, storekeepers and vacationers.

RAFFLE WINNERS. A new deluxe raffle offered great prizes, and Board members were on hand all summer long with plenty of opportunities to take a chance . . . and support the Theatre.Winners were drawn at the closing ‘Best of 2011′ performance: First Prize, an Apple iPad 2:  Robert Wilkins Second Prize, an Amazon Kindle 3G:  Janice Pond Third Prize, a pair of 2012 Season Passes:  Harry McGuigan Congratulations, and thank you to all who participated…look for a new 2012 summer Raffle and more great prizes!

Performances moved to our ‘new’ Barn theatre on Monday, August 6, 2002 with the comedy Not Now, Darling.  A capacity house was on hand to applaud not only the night’s comedy, but also the facility and efforts of all whose work had culminated in a Weathervane for future generations . . .

With our Mortgage paid, thanks to the Capital Challenge ’08, we’re in the process of long term planning and examining all facility needs. There remains a need for pledged support to complete what so many have begun: dressing rooms remain precariously housed in the old structure, and outdoor amenities remain rough. Upkeep, increased insurance costs, and future facility needs are all inevitable.

About our Staff

EXECUTIVE STAFFING: A permanent staff share many years experience at the Weathervane,

as well as professional achievement in related fields.

Our SUMMER COMPANY numbers an average of 55 individuals:

actors, technicians, office and production staffers who come together for each summer Season.

Among them, at least a third call New Hampshire home, and more than half of them have been with

the Theatre for 4 or more years, assuring ease of working relationships and solid grounding to

welcome each summer’s newcomers.

About Us

Continuing a tradition established in 1932 with Whitefield’s Chase Barn Playhouse, the

Weathervane offered their first performance season in 1966. Co-founded by Gibbs Murray and

the late Tom Haas, the Weathervane Theatre Players, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation

governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The Weathervane continues their commitment to children and young audiences not only by offering ‘family-friendly’ Mainstage productions, but also by continuing to develop and promote a wide range of performance and learning experiences.

For children with an active interest in theatre arts, the WINDSOCK CAMP offers three weeks of day camp sessions from introductory to advanced for would-be thespians.

2012 WINDSOCK CAMP dates and info will be updated by April 1.

Play IS the thing at WINDSOCK CAMP, with all-day sessions for ages 7 - 17 — the 2011 information provides a sample description of programs and activities.

Campers end each session with a show of their own on our Mainstage - but the learning fun is in getting there. With three sessions for every interest and ability, we’ll be ready to welcome the 2012 crop of kids age 7 (must be 7 by July 1) to 17 to the popular day camp program at our Red Barn.

Camp runs 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with special Camp show(s) on Saturday, August 18 and 25; weekday additional childcare until 5 p.m. available for working parents.

Act I: in two scenes
TWO one-week sessions in August, each week culminates with a Saturday performance.
Scene 1, Aug. 13-18 or Scene 2, Aug. 20-25

Act II
A two-week sesson, concurrent with Act I, with performance on second Saturday

Act III
Three-week session, with performances on both Saturdays
Aug. 6-25
