MONDAY, OCTOBER 10th:  A Whitefield firefighter holds up the signature weathervane that toppled from the peak of the old barn when fire destroyed the original home of the Theatre.  Valiant efforts by multiple fire departments saved the new theatre in the small hours of the morning - though not without damage to the adjacent part of the building (seen below as State fire investigators confer on scene).

Assessments and planning will be ongoing, and the Board will have plenty to share in future months:  but we will be ready to see you all in July 2012 for SEASON 47!

HEAD OVER HEELS . . .

Audiences loved Season 46, and we hope you had an opportunity to visit us.

We’re wrapping up all the details of 2011 - and starting plans for our 47th summer in the North Country.

The Weathervane Theatre continues to offer award-winning professional performances . . . right in Whitefield! We remain the ONLY summer theatre in the country that offers a seven-show alternating repertory schedule . . . a challenge to performers and staff, and a genuine delight to audiences and visitors who can see up to four different shows a week - and always two different shows every weekend!
